Lime Plastering, Elm Tree Farm
This barn conversion was painstakingly restored throughout using traditional methods and materials wherever possible.
The exposed oak timber trusses and purlins were complimented beautifully by the use of wood wool board and a meduim grade hemp lime plaster which was decorated with limewash.
The use of a lime plaster allowed the modern roof structure full breathability whilst maintaining the soft texture and curves associated with old buildings.
